We are a small CSA and flower farm on Salt Spring Island, BC
We grow 2.5 acres of vegetables, flowers, berries, and herbs in the sunniest fields of our 24-acre farm located on Salt Spring Island, BC. The remaining acreage is split between forest, historic orchard, marshland, and rolling pastures.
Our CSA is the heart of our farm, and most of the produce we grow goes to our member families.
We devote a huge amount of space to flowers, with over 100 varieties of flowers and foliage that we use in our mixed bouquets and arrangements.
We feel very lucky to call one of Salt Spring’s oldest and most beautiful farms home, and we love to share the farm through our CSA programs, workshops, and events.
Many of the kids in our CSA have been with us for all nine years. We love seeing how comfortable they are on the farm, and how their eyes light up at the strawberries and snap peas every time.
We love our customers, our ever-evolving farm crew, and the complexity of our fields – hundreds of varieties of flowers and produce create a different landscape every year.

Zack has been farming in the Pacific Northwest for 12+ years. Originally from Chattanooga, TN, Zack made his way to Salt Spring by way of Vermont, California, and Washington State, where he and Molly spent their first farm season together as apprentices near Bainbridge Island. Zack is the energy force of the farm – he executes ideas, manages field preparation and fertility, handles infrastructure projects, and harvests and arranges many of our flowers. In one day you might find Zack on the tractor, dealing with an irrigation emergency, and making mixed bouquets – he’s everywhere.
Molly fell in love with farming as a kid at farm camp, and has been pursuing a dream of farm education ever since. From Sonoma County, California, Molly has a background in Environmental Studies at UCSC, where a vibrant working/education farm shaped her vision of farm education and activism. At the farm, Molly oversees flower planning and wedding flowers; crop planning and variety selection; workshops; and communication. She is currently working with Sophia to develop kids’ programming at the farm.
Sophia became interested in growing things and farming from a very young age. She pursued a degree in agricultural and environmental sciences and found her way to our farm from Montreal through a student internship. Now in her third season, Sophia is our CSA manager. She is a passionate farmer with an eye for detail and spark that lights up our whole team. She is currently completing a Pathy Foundation fellowship, with the goal of establishing an outreach and education program on the farm.
Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Lewis comes to farming from an engineering background. After years traveling the world, he found himself at the farm with Sophia last year as the world changed with Covid. Though farming was not in his original plans, he excels at it and has become an essential member of our team as a field manager. Lewis brings his engineering skills, systems thinking, dry sense of humour, and ability to fix anything.
